DC Denise Davey
On 25th February 2014 DC Davey of Suffolk Police (the officer in charge of the
investigation) had visited my house when I was out, but had left a note
asking that I call her.
This visit was clearly an excuse to visit me and try and intimidate or as they so
often do, slip information to you in an attempt to try and get you worrying, since there was no feasable reason she needed to visit me in person if you consider the eventual content of the phone conversation.
I called her back the same day. DC Davey claimed not to have my telephone number, but even if this was not the case, she could have easily got it from or informed my solicitor who could have passed the information on to me.
I was informed by DC Davey that I did not have to attend the police station the following day as planned since she had to go to London to collect my equipment.

I commented to why they just couldn't courier it back to which DC Davey responded by saying words along the line of 'we have to do it this way, they contain important data, we need a chain of custody and we wouldn't want to damage any of it and have you suing us.'
Of course at the time it seemed to be just a throw away comment but later on after finding out the police claim to have 'accidentally dropped' a vital piece of equipment, namely a 1TB hard drive, rendering it inaccessible, I began to have questions, namely:
- Did DC Davey really have to pick up my equipment the next day?
- If so, did she and why, since after the 'no evidence' verdicts most of my devices and certainly not the 1TB hard drive and Macbook I will mention later, were not held locally for me to collect?
- If she did not pick up my equipment the following day as she stated, what was the reason for informing me of this?
- Considering DC Davey's verbal comment, when was my hard drive 'accidentally dropped'?
- Why was Lee Morgan Lewis moved on and disciplined? The letter above states CCL did a further analysis, so the hard drive was clearly OK then suggesting it could have been dropped AFTER Lee Morgan Lewis left, but when and by whom and why did we never see the CCL report?
Email from DC Davey informing my then solicitors on 6th February 2015 that Lee Morgan Lewis no longer worked for the police:
